Govardhan Puja and Annakut
Govardhan Puja, or Annakut, falls on the first lunar day of the bright fortnight of Kartika, the fourth day of Diwali. Devotees worship an image of Govardhan Hill made of cow dung and offer a variety of vegetarian food to Krishna.
